Naoto Shirogane's Fortune Social Link in Persona 4 Golden is the last optional link to open: from Oct 21, talk to Naoto at school, then to the man in black near Aiya in the north Shopping District (needs Knowledge 5), then to Naoto again (needs Courage 5) for rank 1, per RPG Site's Naoto guide. TheGamer and Siliconera give the same two maxed stats. Romancing her needs two flags, "I'm glad you're a girl." at rank 5 to 6 and "Protect Naoto" at rank 7 to 8, and rank 10 gives the Detective Badge, which unlocks the fusion of Yamato-Takeru and Norn. In Persona 4 Revival (Feb 18, 2027) every Social Link is fully voiced and, Atlus's staff told PCGamesN, largely unchanged; Atlus has not published Revival's ranks or requirements.

Naoto joins the team on Oct 6, after the Secret Laboratory, but her link opens only on Oct 21 and only with two maxed Social Stats. Plan for it from the spring: Knowledge rises with studying, class answers and the exams, and Courage with the hospital job, scooter rides and books.

Both flags are needed. At rank 5 to 6 pick "I'm glad you're a girl."; "Your gender doesn't matter." scores the same points but closes the romance. At rank 7 to 8 pick "Protect Naoto" rather than running or fighting back, then "Because I love you." If she is your girlfriend before Dec 22, with every dungeon up to that point cleared, "I like it higher." at rank 9 to 10 earns her a Christmas date costume, RPG Site says. The Social Links are unchanged in nature, Kazuhisa Wada told Anime Corner on Jul 8, 2026, with "little bits and pieces" added to some, he and art director Akane Kabayashi told PCGamesN; every Social Link event has newly recorded voices, per Atlus's Japanese site.
