Hisano Social Link

Hisano Kuroda is the Death Social Link in Persona 4 Golden: it opens once Sayoko's Devil link reaches rank 4, she is on the Samegawa Flood Plain only on Sundays and holidays, no answer changes her points, and rank 10 lets you fuse Mahakala.

Hisano Kuroda is the Death Social Link in Persona 4 Golden, and it is the simplest link in the game to answer and one of the hardest to schedule: it opens only after Sayoko Uehara's Devil link reaches rank 4, she is on the Samegawa Flood Plain only on Sundays and holidays when it is not raining, and no conversation choice changes her points. The one task is a key item, the Husband's Letter, between ranks 6 and 7; rank 10 gives the Old Fountain Pen, which lets you fuse Mahakala. Persona 4 Revival keeps the Social Links, all newly voiced, but Atlus has not said anything about Hisano's.

How to unlock Hisano

Hisano's link depends on the hospital. Take the hospital cleaning night job from May 25 (it needs Diligence 3), meet Sayoko Uehara there and raise her Devil link to rank 4; RPG Site's Devil guide says the scene at rank 3 to 4 leads into the Death link. After that, go to the Samegawa Flood Plain on a Sunday or holiday and talk to Hisano there to start rank 1. Neither RPG Site nor Siliconera gives a fixed date, since it depends on how fast you reach Sayoko's rank 4.

When is Hisano available?

Only in the daytime on Sundays and holidays, and never when it rains, per TheGamer and Siliconera. That gives her far fewer days than most links, so a player chasing every Social Link should start Sayoko early and keep free Sundays for the flood plain.

Rank by rank

Rank	What to do	Notes
1 to 6	Spend time with her; answer however you like	No choice changes the points
6 to 7	Talk to the man behind the counter at Daidara's shop (Daidara Metalworks) to get the Husband's Letter, then return to her	The link waits until you have the letter
7 to 10	Spend time with her; answer however you like	No choice changes the points
10	Old Fountain Pen	Lets you fuse Mahakala

RPG Site adds that carrying a Death Persona does not speed this link up, unlike almost every other: its pace is fixed, so the only way to finish sooner is to see her on every free Sunday and holiday.

Rewards

Rank 10 gives the Old Fountain Pen, which lets you fuse Mahakala, and, in RPG Site's words, a major boost to the Death Personas you fuse (see Persona Fusion). TheGamer's element list also names Alice, a Death Persona, as the best Dark Persona in Golden, so a high Death rank pays off when fusing her too (see Best Personas).

Hisano's link in Persona 4 Revival

Persona 4 Revival, a full remake of Persona 4 Golden out Feb 18, 2027, voices every Social Link event anew, per Atlus's Japanese site. Director Kazuhisa Wada told PCGamesN on Aug 26, 2026 the links are largely unchanged with "little bits and pieces" added to some. Atlus has not named Hisano's English voice or said whether her link changes. Every guide here is for Persona 4 Golden; none covers the PS2 Persona 4's version.
