Tohru Adachi's Jester Social Link is a Persona 4 Golden addition: start it at Junes from May 13, see him only on set dates, and reach rank 6 by the end of Nov 1 or it locks. Atlus has not said whether it is in Persona 4 Revival.
Tohru Adachi's Social Link, the Jester arcana, is one of the two links added in Persona 4 Golden, and the one with the hardest rule: start it by talking to him at Junes after school on or after May 13, see him only on a fixed list of 35 dates, and reach rank 6 by the end of Nov 1, or the link locks for the rest of the game. Ranks 3, 4 and 5 happen only at night, outside the gas station in Shopping District South. After rank 6 the link moves with the story, and on the right path its arcana changes. Atlus has not said whether this link is in Persona 4 Revival, though Johnny Yong Bosch returns there as Adachi's English voice.

How to start Adachi's Social Link
From May 13, after the events of Yukiko's Castle, go to Junes after school and talk to Adachi. A short chat gives rank 1, per RPG Site. Carry a Jester Persona for bonus points, and watch the calendar: he cannot be seen while a friend is trapped in the Midnight Channel, and set story days override free time.
When is Adachi available?
Only on these dates. Plan around them: 12 of the 35 fall in May and June, and August has only 2, so an early start makes the Nov 1 deadline easy.

If rank 6 is not reached by bedtime on Nov 1, TheGamer says the link stays where it is and Adachi is unavailable for the rest of the game.

Adachi is the killer the Investigation Team is hunting, and from rank 7 his link follows the story, per TheGamer:

The Accomplice ending. Keeping your suspicions from your friends on Dec 5 and protecting Adachi leads to the Accomplice ending, which TheGamer says needs his Jester link maxed. On the last day, go to see him and give TheGamer's chosen answers: "Yes" to whether you came to convince him to turn himself in, "Yes" to whether he is being blackmailed, "I'm on your side," "Yes" to whether you understand what that means, then set fire to the letter. That maxes the Jester link; any other choice, or going home, leads to the bad ending. The Persona 4 Endings page covers every route.
Rewards
Final Weapon says maxing the link gives the Magatsu-Izanagi Persona; TheGamer and RPG Site do not name a reward, so treat it as one guide's word. The link has no romance.
Adachi's link in Persona 4 Revival
Atlus has not said whether the Jester link is in Persona 4 Revival, out Feb 18, 2027. Revival is "a full remake of Persona 4 Golden," in its official site's words, and Atlus's Japanese site says every Social Link event is newly voiced, but no source read names Adachi's link, and Atlus has not itemized which Golden additions return. Johnny Yong Bosch, who voiced Adachi in the original games, is the one returning English actor, per Kotaku on Sep 21, 2026; Mitsuaki Madono voices him in Japanese. The PS2 Persona 4 has no Adachi Social Link. The clip is Atlus's Sep 19, 2026 broadcast introducing Adachi in Revival footage; it does not show his Social Link.
