How do you beat Izanami?
Both forms are level 90, strong to physical and immune to light and dark, with no weakness; the second form, Izanami-no-Okami, also drains electric. The clip is BuffMaister's fight in Persona 4 Golden on PC at Very Hard.
- Phase one, Izanami. Save SP and use heavy elemental magic. When the game says she cannot be hit, stop attacking and heal for phase two.
- Phase two, Izanami-no-Okami. She acts twice a turn and leans on ailments, then Summons to Yomi, which can kill every ailing party member at once. Her list also has Agneyastra, Hell's Judgment, Kuro Ikazuchi, World's End, Fury of Yasogami, Megidolaon and Galgalim Eyes. Cure ailments at once, use Trumpeter's Debilitate and Helel's Insta-Heal, and do not use electric.
- Scripted moves. Oho Ikazuchi deals 999 almighty damage, and Thousand Curses is an instant kill. When she starts casting Thousand Curses at critical health, the fight is won.
TheGamer's recommended party for this fight is Yosuke, Chie and Yukiko; its party guide picks Kanji instead. The protagonist's ultimate Persona is on Izanagi-no-Okami.
