Persona 4 Revival (Feb 18, 2027) keeps the Velvet Room and its fusion, says Atlus, and Marie returns, brought in "from the beginning" rather than added on as in Golden, Kazuhisa Wada told GamesRadar+ on Sep 5, 2026.

Igor

9:24 Igor is the room's master. He performs every fusion, two Personas or more, and the special fusions that need four, five or more; Persona Fusion covers the rules and Best Personas the results. In the last days of the year he matters to the story too: on Mar 20 on the True Ending path he hands over the orb that leads to the final dungeon (RPG Site calls it the Orb of Clarity, TheGamer the Orb of Sight); the route is on Persona 4 Endings.

Margaret

Margaret is Igor's assistant and the Empress Social Link. Her link opens on or after May 19 once Knowledge reaches rank 3, and instead of hanging out she asks for Personas carrying particular skills, from an Ippon-Datara with Sukukaja at rank 2 to a Trumpeter with Mind Charge at rank 10; handing one in takes no time (TheGamer, RPG Site). Rank 10 gives the Spiral Brooch for fusing Isis. Every request and recipe is on Margaret Social Link.

Marie

52:06 Marie is new in Persona 4 Golden. She has lost her memories, was given the name "Marie", and finds Inaba strangely familiar (TheGamer). From Apr 18, choose "Listen to Marie's Request" in the Velvet Room to start the Aeon link; afterward she goes out on Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, never in rain, and every day after Dec 8. The link can be a romance, and rank 10 gives the Bamboo Comb for fusing Kaguya and opens the Hollow Forest, which the Golden ending needs. The deadline differs by guide (Dec 22, Dec 23 or Dec 31); details are on Marie Social Link and Marie. The clip is GameSpot's Aug 26, 2026 footage of a pre-release build of Revival, in which Marie meets Yosuke and her Aeon bond begins.

Her service is the Skill Card: a card teaches a Persona one skill, and Marie can register a card and make copies for a fee, per Siliconera (Nov 13, 2012). Registering one earns the achievement "A Favor for Marie", which 51.5% of Steam players held on Nov 3, 2026.

Requests and what the room does not offer

In Persona 4 the Velvet Room's requests are Margaret's Persona requests, which are her Social Link. Elizabeth, Persona 3's attendant, has her requests in that game; no source read here places her in Persona 4's room (TheGamer).

The Velvet Room in Persona 4 Revival

49:43 Atlus lists fusing Personas in the Velvet Room among the systems Persona 4 Revival keeps (Atlus). Marie and her Social Link outings return (Siliconera, Oct 5, 2026), and Wada said she "needs to be here from the beginning" with a "more natural, flowing entrance" than Golden's (GamesRadar+). The Deluxe and Premium editions include a Velvet Outfit Set of costumes (SEGA). Atlus has not said whether Skill Cards, Margaret's requests or her fight return unchanged, as of Nov 3, 2026.
