When does Persona 4 Revival come out?

1:30 On Feb 18, 2027. SEGA's press release from the night of the Xbox Games Showcase 2026 gives that date for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, PlayStation 5 and Steam, and SEGA's Japanese release of Jun 8, 2026 gives the same day. It is one worldwide date: RPG Site lists Feb 18, 2027 for Japan, the US and Europe. On Nov 3, 2026 the official site opened with "COMING FEB 18 2027." The clip is the end of Atlus's Jul 2026 story recap, which names the same date and platforms.

The game is a full remake of Persona 4 Golden; what that covers is on Persona 4 Revival and What's New in Persona 4 Revival.

What time does Persona 4 Revival unlock?

No hour has been announced. Two store listings point in slightly different directions, and both are store data, not statements from Atlus:

Store	What it shows, Nov 3, 2026	In US time
US PlayStation Store	"2/18/2027, 05:00 AM UTC"	Midnight Eastern on Feb 18, 9 pm Pacific on Feb 17
Steam	"Coming Feb 17, 2027" in the US, UK, German, Japanese and UAE stores	No hour given

The Steam date one day early is not new for Atlus. Persona 3 Reload's Steam page shows Feb 1, 2024 for a game launched on Feb 2, 2024. That pattern, and the PlayStation Store's 05:00 UTC, would fit an unlock on the evening of Feb 17 in the Americas, but no source explains the gap, so neither listing should be read as the official time. The launch clock on this viki counts to midnight UTC on Feb 18 for that reason alone.

When does Persona 4 Revival come out on Switch 2?

0:53 On May 20, 2027. The Switch 2 version was announced in the September 2026 Nintendo Direct, which RPG Site reported on Sep 9, 2026, and the date is on Atlus's own Japanese site as "Nintendo Switch 2 COMING 2027.05.20" and on SEGA Asia's site. In Japan, the Switch 2 standard edition costs 9,900 yen, physical or digital. The Switch 2 price, editions and pre-order date outside Japan had not been announced as of Nov 3, 2026. See Persona 4 Revival Platforms and PC Requirements. The clip is the end of the Switch 2 announcement trailer, whose last card reads "Coming May 20, 2027."

How the date was set

Date	What happened
Jun 8, 2025	Revealed with a teaser at the Xbox Games Showcase 2025; release date "To be announced"
Jun 20, 2025	A SEGA management presentation placed it "in or after" the fiscal year ending March 2027, so not before Apr 1, 2026
Jul 17, 2025	Steam and PlayStation Store pages opened for wishlists
Jun 7, 2026	Dated Feb 18, 2027 at the Xbox Games Showcase 2026, beside the Persona 6 announcement; Xbox pre-orders opened
Jun 8, 2026	PS5 and Steam pre-orders opened
Sep 9, 2026	Switch 2 version announced for May 20, 2027

0:03 The date has not moved since it was announced. Before June 2026, PC Gamer noted that rumors and leaks had pointed to early 2027; that was never confirmed until Atlus gave the date. One preview box from GamesRadar+ on Sep 3, 2026 printed "February 18, 2026", a typo: every store and Atlus page says 2027. The clip is Atlus's Sep 19, 2026 broadcast, still giving Feb 18, 2027.

When can you pre-load Persona 4 Revival?

Pre-load dates have not been announced on any platform as of Nov 3, 2026, and no install size is published: Steam's requirements still read "TBD." On Game Pass the game is listed as coming to Ultimate and PC Game Pass, and Xbox has not given a pre-install date either.

Is there early access?

No. Steam, the PlayStation Store, the Xbox Store and the official site list no early access period with any edition; the Digital Deluxe and Digital Premium editions add costumes, Personas and music, not days. Every edition starts on Feb 18, 2027. Prices and contents are on Persona 4 Revival Editions and Price.

What is the pre-order bonus deadline?

Pre-order by Feb 17, 2027 at 23:59 to get the P3R & P5R Extra BGM Set, six battle, dungeon and result tracks from Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Royal. The US stores give no time zone; Atlus Japan's cutoff is 23:59 Japan time on Feb 17, and SEGA Asia gives the same moment as 10:59 pm in UTC+8. In Japan and Asia, first-print physical copies carry the same set while supplies last. The tracks are listed on Persona 4 Revival Music.

Can you play Persona 4 Revival before release?

Only in Japan, and only in person. Atlus brought a demo to Tokyo Game Show 2026, and Atlus Japan runs in-store demos at Yodobashi Camera and Bic Camera from Nov 14 to Dec 13, 2026. No demo for home consoles or PC has been announced as of Nov 3, 2026, and no review scores exist yet. See Persona 4 Revival Previews.
