Only Yoshitsune has no weakness: Surt is weak to ice, Loki and Odin to fire, Thor and Helel to wind and Alice to light (TheGamer's Daisoujou entry contradicts itself on dark), so carry a second Persona to cover the gap. TheGamer also notes Golden's Fusion Forecast, which gives a Persona fused on certain days a bonus skill: a Yoshitsune fused on Dec 19 gets Arms Master, and on Dec 24 Debilitate.

Personas for the hardest fights

For the last bosses, TheGamer's boss guides lean on two Personas rather than the element picks: Trumpeter, for Debilitate, Heat Riser and Megidolaon (it repels electric), and Tam Lin, for High Counter and Enduring Soul (TheGamer). The party's ultimate Personas

In the PS2 Persona 4, maxing a party member's Social Link evolved their Persona once; Persona 4 Golden added a third form. To unlock it, max the link and talk to that friend between Jan 10 and Feb 5. Teddie's link rises with the story, so his is ready on Jan 10.

Izanagi-no-Okami

The protagonist's strongest Persona is Izanagi-no-Okami, the only Persona of the World arcana. It needs a finished True Ending, New Game Plus, player level 91 and twelve specific Personas, one of them Norn from a maxed Naoto link; it resists the four elements and physical attacks and has no weakness.
