Persona 4 Calendar

Persona 4 Golden runs on a day-by-day calendar from April to Mar 20, with fixed dungeon deadlines, exams and Social Link cutoffs. This calendar lists the dates editorial guides publish, month by month, and says which ones are not confirmed.

Persona 4 Golden's year runs from mid-April to the last day, Mar 20, and the dates that matter most are the dungeon deadlines (Kanji's by Jun 4, Mitsuo's by Aug 12, Naoto's by Oct 5, Nanako's by Nov 20), the five exam weeks, the Dec 3 hospital choice and the Dec 5 culprit question, Marie's link deadline in late December, and the ski trip and Hollow Forest in February. Every date on this page is Persona 4 Golden's, taken from RPG Site, TheGamer and Inverse guides; where no editorial source gives a date (Yukiko's and Rise's deadlines among them), the page says so. Persona 4 Revival keeps the Golden storyline as it is, and its own store screenshots show the same kind of dated days, but Atlus has not published Revival's calendar, so these dates are Golden's until the remake is out on Feb 18, 2027.

How the calendar works

Each day has an after-school slot and an evening slot. Days with set story events override free time, so Social Links are not available then. Rain matters: most Social Link partners stay home in the rain, while Adachi, Sayoko, Ayane, Yumi, Dojima and Nanako can still be seen, and the Fox does not care. Each kidnapping opens a dungeon with a fog deadline: miss it and the captive dies and the game ends. The usual advice is to clear a dungeon early and keep the remaining days for Social Links and Social Stats.

The dates of the school trip and the culture festival are not given by any editorial source read for this page, so they are left out rather than guessed.

November

Date What happens
11/1 Last chance for Adachi's Jester link to reach rank 6, or it locks
11/6 Heaven opens; Investigation Team rank 9

11/20 Deadline for Heaven
11/28 Finals begin (results 12/8)

Sources: TheGamer Adachi guide; TheGamer Heaven walkthrough; RPG Site Fool, Star and Judgement; RPG Site quests guide; RPG Site answers.

Once Nanako is taken, the Investigation Team's Social Links and Dojima, Adachi and Nanako are unavailable until Heaven is cleared, so clearing it quickly gives the most free days back.

December

Spoiler warning: this section names the culprit.

Date What happens
12/3 The hospital: the Namatame choice decides the route; Investigation Team rank 10
12/4 to 12/7 Judgement ranks 2 to 7
12/5 Name the culprit (Adachi) and tell your friends
12/8 Magatsu Inaba reached; exam results; Marie available every day
12/22 TheGamer's suggested day to finish Magatsu Inaba
12/22 to 12/31 Marie's link deadline, depending on the guide (see below)
12/24 Clearing the dungeon jumps here; beating its boss jumps to 12/26

Sources: RPG Site endings guide; TheGamer Fool guide; TheGamer Judgement guide; TheGamer availability guide; TheGamer Magatsu Inaba walkthrough.

Magatsu Inaba must be finished before Christmas, Inverse says. The guides disagree on the last day for Marie's Aeon link: TheGamer says rank 10 by 12/23, RPG Site says before Magatsu Inaba is completed, with 12/22 recommended, and Inverse says until 12/31. The earliest of the three is the safe one. The choices on Dec 3 and Dec 5 are on Persona 4 Endings.

Persona 4 Revival's calendar

Atlus says Revival keeps the original storyline as it is, so its year is expected to follow Golden's shape, but no Revival date list exists before the Feb 18, 2027 launch. Revival's Steam screenshots show the same dated days: Chie asking about the Midnight Channel on Apr 13, and Nanako by a Tanabata bamboo branch on Jul 1 (Steam). Atlus also lists new seasonal events and Location Episodes with Aika Nakamura (Atlus Japan), which may take days that were free in Golden. Whether any deadline moves is not known as of Nov 3, 2026. See What's New in Persona 4 Revival. The clip is Atlus's Sep 19, 2026 broadcast introducing Revival's Location Episodes.
